PCB flash instructions

Your Qazimodo PCB comes pre-flashed with firmware that is compatible with Vial. If you need to reflash the firmware, you can do so using QMK Toolbox. To flash, follow these steps:

1. Launch QMK Toolbox.
2. Plug in your PCB.
3. On the underside of your PCB, press and hold down the button labeled RST1, then while still holding it down press the button labeled BOOT1.
4. Release the RST1 button followed by the BOOT1 button.
5. You should see the PCB enter bootloader mode in QMK Toolbox.

Once the PCB is in bootloader mode, you can select the firmware file you are going to flash and click the Flash button in QMK Toolbox.

Build instructions

Building is pretty straightforward. One thing to keep in mind is that the case screws in the front are shorter than the ones in the back. If you try to screw the shorter ones into the back they are not long enough.

1. Remove all 8 screws from the bottom of the case using a hex key.
2. Remove the bottom case piece and set it aside.
3. Remove all 6 screws that attach the plate to the underside of the top case piece.
4. If needed, attach stabilizers to the PCB.
5. Insert switches.
6. Screw the plate back into the top case piece.
7. Reposition the bottom case piece and screw it in, making sure to use the shorter screws in the front and the longer screws in the back.
